Del Castillo

View Artist's Website »

Austin-based award-winning Latin Rock band Del Castillo has an eclectic blend of members and styles. With Mark and Rick del Castillo on guitar/vocals, Alex Ruiz on lead vocals/guitar/harmonica, Mike Zeoli on drums, and Bert Besteiro on bass, the band melds the flamenco, rock, Latin, and blues genres into flawless guitar riffs and hooks.  The band has toured across the country with bands like Styx, Los Lonely Boys, and Willie Nelson.  In December 2008, both Mark and Rick were selected by Gibson Global as two of only six people in the world to launch their Dark Fire Gibson Les Paul guitar line.

To say Del Castillo has achieved success is an understatement.  Their music is known around the world and has been featured in movies such as Once Upon A Time in Mexico, Kill Bill: Vol. 2, and Sin City.  Check out their website to see a list of shows at www.delcastillomusic.com.
